What is harness leather and why is it superior? Harness leather is created through a lengthy, traditional vegetable tanning process followed by a crucial “hot stuffing” of oils, waxes, and tallows, then finished with glazing to create its durable, water-resistant, and naturally lustrous finish, ideal for demanding outdoor use like equestrian gear.
